Serviced Apartments - disruptors in the hospitality industry
When we started working with the Association of Serviced Apartments, the trade body for serviced apartments and aparthotels, all we knew was that this was a client offering a new, luxury, high-tech alternative to both the traditional hotel industry and the slightly ungoverned rise of Airbnb.
Now we're pretty much experts in the sector!
Our original brief was to launch, and then run, a trending newshub website for ASAP in brand with, and linked to, their other online presence.
Since we started the project in late 2015, we have grown to become an integral part of their marketing and promotional strategy, and have become friends. We have helped them design and relaunch their own main website and a range of marketing collateral, have ghost-written and placed expert articles, have worked with them on their conventions, events and awards, and helped build their Quality Accreditation Scheme, Membership and publication subscriber base.
On a daily basis, our bespoke software identifies news stories based on keywords we have pre-set and which are constantly evolving. It then feeds those stories into one dashboard for our writers to evaluate and assess, and from there we write a short, original summary of each appropriate story with comment from the Association where required.
Once appropriately illustrated with an from our extensive library, his then posts as a news item in the relevant sections of the newshub, and feeds into a weekly subscriber and Member newsletter. It also automatically posts to a range of social media, with the capacity to set scheduled repeat posts at pre-set intervals.
We have become so expert in the field of hospitality and the place of serviced apartment and aparthotels that we have been invited to speak on an expert panel at the annual Convention in London in December, where we will be catching up with contacts and friends old and new in the industry.
